Aby is a Senior Lecturer in Nurse Education and the Faculty Lead for Simulation within the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care at King’s College London. where she leads innovative work in healthcare education through the integration of artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Named BJN Nurse Educator of the Year for her Virtual Placement project, Aby’s research focuses on immersive and technology-enhanced learning in nurse education. Her work explores the intersection of technology, theatre, and health, using creative pedagogies to inspire engagement and deepen understanding. Recent projects include the use of forum theatre in anti-bullying health promotion, virtual interprofessional learning, and drama-based patient pathways designed to build student confidence in holistic care and daily living assessments.
